To give listeners a little insight into our reasons for including them in the first place, I shall answer that question here and now:

The release was meant to instill a little nostalga in to the episode, by including some of the commercials that ran during the original run of Star Trek: The Next Generation back in 1987.

Part two of this episode is in the final stages of production as is scheduled for a june release.
